13 Year Old Shot Sitting In Bedroom
On November 11, 2023 at approximately 11:06 PM, Gary Police responded to a call of a 13 year-old-female gunshot victim in the 2700 block of Monroe Street, according to Gary Police.
Witnesses state that an unknown subject or subjects began shooting at the house and the victim was struck. The victim was sitting in a chair in a bedroom in the residence.
Witnesses also state they heard subjects running through the yard after the shooting. This incident is being investigated by Sgt. Mark Salazar. (219) 881-1209
