Fun fact – The last time O’Hare had a 2 foot snow depth was January 1979. The last time Midway had that was a month later in February 1979. Midway was still the official observation site for the city at the time, so for official records for the city of Chicago, the last time a 2 foot snow depth was recorded was February 1979.
