Hammond Police Department Hiring
The Hammond Police Department is hiring Police Officers who are Indiana Academy Certified ONLY.
Starting salary is $45,592 for Probationary Officers OR $60,761 if you have 3+ years as a Police Officer
·Must be Indiana Academy Certified
·Must be a U.S. Citizen and a resident of Lake, Porter, Newton, or Jasper Counties in Indiana at time of hire.
·Must pass a Voice Stress Analysis Examination, Psychological Evaluation and Physical Examination.
·Must be accepted by the Indiana Retirement Fund
