Man Found Shot After Merrillville Police Respond To Shots Fired
Merrillville Police responded to a call for shots fired in the 5300 Block of Georgia Monday at approximately 12AM, according to Assistant Chief Kosta Nuses.
Shortly after arriving on scene, Merrillville Police units received further information of a gunshot victim in the 5700 Block of Harrison Street and determined this to be related, Nuses told RNS. The victim was transported for treatment but his current condition is unknown.
