18 Year Old Minnesota Teen Killed Friday
On Friday, 09/10/2021 at approximately 3:45 pm East Chicago Police were dispatched to St. Catherine’s Hospital in reference to a shooting victim that was dropped off at the ER, according to Deputy Chief Jose Rivera.
Officers arrived on scene and were advised by security personnel that a young male black driving a red Chevy Impala dropped off the victim and fled to parts unknown. The victim had a single gunshot wound to the left side of his head and was unresponsive. He was pronounced deceased by the ER Doctor on scene.
The Lake County Coroner has identified the male has Emannel Hall, 18, of Minneapolis Minnesota.
The East Chicago Criminal Investigation Division was called out to the scene to investigate. The red Chevy Impala that was driven to drop off the victim was located and impounded for evidentiary purposes. The Criminal Investigation Division has also identified and located a person of interest.
