Motorcycle Crash In Crown Point Injures Two

Around 6 PM Sunday 9/12/2021 two people sustained serious injury after an accident involving a motorcycle in Crown Point, according to Crown Point Police Assistant Chief Jim Janda.

A passenger car was traveling westbound on 93rd and made a turn southbound in front of a motorcycle going eastbound near Madison. Merrillville Fire Department & Superior Ambulance responded to the scene and set a landing zone up near 9600 Broadway for a medivac. The male driver of the motorcycle and the female passenger both sustained serious injuries from the accident and were flown out of the area, Janda stated. 

The updated condition of the occupants of the motorcycle were not available Monday morning. No charges have been filed and the accident is still under investigation.
