Charges Pressed In Hammond Homicide
On January 31st, the Hammond Police Department presented charges to the Lake County Prosecutor’s office in the January 30th homicide of Sylvia Williams, Lt. Steve Kellogg of the Hammond Police said. The charges were accepted and 56-year-old Charles Anthony Goforth was charged with Murder. The Hammond Police Department grieves for the family of Ms. Williams and carries a heavy heart as prosecution moves forward.
