53 Year Old Male Shot In Gary Friday Night
On January 31, 2020 approximately 7:00 PM, the Gary Police Department responded to a call of shots fired in the 3700 block of Harrison Street, according to Lt. Dawn Westerfield. A short time later a call was received for a gun shot victim in the 5000 block of Tennessee Street, Westerfield said.
Upon arrival on Tennessee Street officers determined the male victim had been shot in the 3700 block of Harrison Street and driven himself to the Tennessee Street location. The 53 year old male was transported for medical treatment to Northlake Methodist. The investigation is ongoing.
