Alabama Woman Charged With Dealing Meth After Traffic Stop
On March 14, 2022 around 10 PM Lake County Sheriff Deputies made a traffic stop on a speeding vehicle near 117th & Wicker near St. John, according to court records.
As the officer approached the Red Nissan a strong smell of marijuana was coming from the vehicle occupied by two subjects. During a subsequent search of the vehicle a clear back was found in the center console containing a clear hard rock substance suspected to be Crystal Meth. Officers continued to search the vehicle and located a safe in the backseat which contained a larger amount of Crystal Meth, 28 Hypodermic Needles, 2 digital scales, and unused clear baggies in the original container.
The two subjects were asked whose items these were and the female passenger said it was her safe and claimed ownership to everything in the safe. During the questioning the female stated, “I stay at a flop house in Alabama with a drug dealer and stole his safe.”
The rock substance tested positive for Crystal Meth and weighed 51.9 grams, court records stated. The passenger has been identified as Allison Joan Bruner of Vestavia, Alabama. She is preliminary charged with a Level 2 Felony for Dealing in Methamphetamine/Amount of 10 or more grams.
