Porter County Sheriff Investigating Shooting Death
On Friday, 10/14/2022, at approximately 10:15 PM, Porter County Sheriff Officers responded to a call of shots fired in the area of the 600 W Block of County Road 100 N (Union Township).
Upon arrival, Officers located a male subject deceased from a gunshot wound. The suspect in the case, a female juvenile, was located and taken into custody without incident a short time later.
The investigation is on-going and police would not comment further at this time. This was an isolated incident and there is no threat to public safety, police added.
The identity of the deceased has not been released. Check back for updates.
