Police Appreciation Day Thursday 9/21

This event was created to show appreciation for those who serve in the law enforcement community. The parade starting at 6:30 PM at Lake Central High School in St. John will include police and fire vehicles, motorcycles and show cars. (Parade route will start at LC. H.S. and proceed North on Rt. 41 to Rt. 30 East to Cline Ave North to Joliet street East to The Halls of St. George. Residents are encouraged to line the parade route with flags and signs supporting law enforcement.

Once all members arrive at the Halls of St George, they will be led in by the Lake County Pipes and Drums. There will be a short ceremony with Tiffany Lidster performing the National Anthem. The Nick Danger Band will be providing the entertainment for the evening. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

THIS IS A FREE EVENT AND YOU ARE ENCOURAGED TO BRING YOUR ENTIRE FAMILY. Donations will be accepted to cover the officers meals. Contact Jeff Fryzel via Email at jeffreyfryzel@gmail.com with any questions.
