Dyer Speedway Robbed By Man Armed With A Shotgun Thursday
On Thursday, December 21, 2023, at approximately 3:29 AM, Dyer Police Officers
responded to a robbery that just occurred at the Speedway Gas Station located at 718 Joliet Street, according to Dyer Police.
Upon arrival, officers learned that a male black subject entered the business armed
with a shotgun demanding money and cigarettes from the clerk. The offender fled the scene in silver Chrysler PT Cruiser with approximately $481 U.S. Currency along with 29 packs of cigarettes, Dyer Police told RNS.
The vehicle fled westbound on U.S. 30 into Illinois.
