Fatal Garage Fire Monday In Hammond Under Investigation
The fire occurred around 7 AM, in the 3300 block of 173rd in Hammond, according to Hammond Fire Chief Bernie Grisolia. The fire was found to be in a detached garage at the residence.
Hammond Fire & Police along with the Lake County Coroner and State Fire Marshal are investigating the incident and could not release any other information at the time of this release.
Further information will be released in the coming days, officials told RNS.
