Large Fire Spreading; Sheriff Calls For Evacuations
Several fire crews are working a large and spreading field fire in the Burr Oak area of Jasper County. (County Road 200 S and County Road 1000 W). For the safety of residents in this immediate area, officials are asking citizens to evacuate their homes as a precautionary measure.
All other citizens should avoid this area due to thick smoke, dangerous conditions and emergency vehicles fighting this fire.
