New Chicago Police Department Capture Alleged Child Molester
The New Chicago Police Department is proud to announce the successful capture of Abraham Nadermohammadi following a thorough investigation led by Detective B. Rivera, with assistance from Detective G. Dickerson. After months of diligent work, detectives submitted charges to the Lake County Prosecutor’s Office, which resulted in the issuance of a level 4 felony warrant for Nadermohammadi on charges of Child Molesting – Fondling or touching a child under 14.
Nadermohammadi was taken into custody on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, and is currently being held at the Lake County Jail without bond.
New Chicago Police Chief Mayo expressed his pride in the efforts of the detectives, stating, “I am proud of the work performed by our detectives. We take every criminal case personally, but when the victim is a child who can’t take up for and defend themselves, that case touches home a little deeper. Now I pray the family can find a little comfort and begin their healing process. There is a long road ahead of them as we travel the judicial system, but we plan on being by this family every step of the way. If you have been a victim of any kind of abuse, know that you have a voice, and there are police officers, detectives, family members, and friends who are here ready to listen and speak for you.”
The suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
