Hobart Fire Responds To Chuck E. Cheese
The Hobart Fire Department responded to a fire alarm activation at Chuck E. Cheese, according to Hobart Fire Chief Enrique Lopez. Upon arrival, crews found occupants evacuating the building, and the manager reported light smoke visible from the eaves inside.
Firefighters quickly investigated and discovered smoldering material behind a section of the wall. The fire was contained to a 3×3-foot area and was promptly extinguished, Lopez stated. Crews overhauled the affected section to ensure no further fire spread.
A Hobart Fire Department investigator is currently on scene working to determine the cause of the fire. No injuries have been reported, and the quick actions of both staff and responding crews helped prevent further damage, Lopez added.
