Waukegan Woman Arrested After Pursuit On 94
On March 16, 2025, at 1:33 PM, Porter County Police were on routine patrol in the area of State Road 149 & US Highway 20 when Porter County Dispatch advised LaPorte County was in pursuit westbound on Interstate 94 from mile marker 37, according to a police report. Porter County Dispatch was then advised LaPorte County terminated the pursuit near I-94 & County Line. The suspect was driving a 2005 Honda Civic bearing Illinois plates.
Porter County Officers observed the suspect vehicle at mile marker 21 and attempted to stop the driver. The vehicle continued to flee at a high rate of speed in excess of 100 MPH. The vehicle continued to weave in and out of lanes and at times going on the shoulder/off roadway to pass vehicles. While approaching exit 15, the vehicle started to take the exit ramp but then continued going westbound on I-94. The vehicle slowed down to do so and officers executed a Precision Immobilization Technique (PIT) on the vehicle. The vehicle went into the concrete median several times and eventually crashed coming to rest near mile marker 14.8.
Porter County Officers and two Indiana State Troopers were immediately on scene and ordered the 4 occupants out of the vehicle. All occupants were placed into handcuffs. Once the scene was safe, police called for EMS for the occupants who had complaints of pain all around their bodies. The female, who was still in the driver’s seat eventually identified as, Aliexis M Bou, 20, of Waukegan, IL.
Under the passenger seat, officers located a green leafy plant like material in dispensary packages. Aliexis admitted that the marijuana was hers and took ownership of it. Police located a total of 114 grams of Marijuana.
Police also learned Aliexis had a warrant Illinois/Wisconsin extradition only warrant for Aggravated Battery, Fleeing & Eluding, and Resisting Peace Officer.
Aliexis was lodged in the Porter County Jail pending charges for:
Resisting Law Enforcement- Level 6 Felony
Reckless Driving – C Misdemeanor
Possession of Marijuana – B Misdemeanor
