Lake County Coroner Seeking ID Of Caucasian Girl Found In Miller

UPDATE – The Lake County Coroner has identified the deceased as Evalyce Day, 23, of Irving Park, IL. The cause and manner of death are still pending according to the coroner.

The Lake County Coroner’s Office was dispatched to Methodist Northlake shortly after 6am Saturday morning according to a release from The Coroners Office. A female “Jesse Doe” was discovered on the 7300 block of Oak Ave in the Miller section of Gary Saturday.

The Coroner office has a description of Jesse Doe as a Caucasian female that is 5 feet 4 inches tall and 116 lbs. Jesse Doe has shoulder length brown hair and brown eyes. There are multiple tattoos throughout her body, some of them being: 

-“Richard” right thigh

-“Chicago” left shoulder

– a photograph of Marilyn Monroe left shoulder

-a picture of a face on her left hand

-a tribal heart tattoo on lower back

  1. About how old is this female? What is the cause of her death? How long had she been deceased when she was found? Was she found on the beach or actually on Oak Avenue? So many unanswered questions!
