Michigan City Man Charged After Throwing Bags Of Drugs And Phones Over Fence At Westville Correctional Facility
Halton Maleek Duke, 19, of Michigan City, is facing multiple felony charges after court documents allege he was observed throwing two large bags filled with contraband over the fence and into the Westville Correctional Facility during the early morning hours of January 20.
According to the Affidavit for Probable Cause, at approximately 12:20 a.m., prison staff observed Duke along the fence line behind 7 and 8 dorm. As staff continued to watch, Duke allegedly threw two large bags over the fence into the prison grounds.
