Highland Police Seek Info On Suspicious Incident
On Thursday April 9th at approximately 5:06pm, a dark complected male (described as either Indian or Middle Eastern) in his 20’s approached a 15 year old female who was sitting in the grass along the Highland Bike Trail near the footbridge behind the Highland High School football field, Commander John Banasiak of The Highland Police said. The male was described as being approx. 6’ tall, heavier set, heavy beard and dark hair. He was wearing black pants and a black hoodie. He had blue thin framed glasses and he was also wearing a black Strack and Vantil winter cap. He put his arm around the female juvenile and made inappropriate sexual comments to her until another male noticed this and confronted the male who then fled running southbound on the trail towards 41st Street.
