Gary Police Investigating Two Shot & Killed Tuesday
Gary Police were dispatched to the area of 13th & Grant around 11:30am Tuesday for a shooting according to sources. On arrival police found two people shot and deceased on scene in a vehicle. Lt. Dawn Westerfield of the Gary Police stated the actual incident occurred at another location.
As of 1:30pm, Gary Police are calling this a homicide with two people in custody at the station for questioning that had called the police to the scene. It’s unclear at this time if this was a robbery gone bad or other circumstances. We will have a full update later this evening.
