One Shot At Griffith Mansards
Shortly after 6:30pm Thursday Griffith Police were dispatched to 2000 block of N. Arbogast for a gun shot victim at the Park West Apartments. On arrival police found one female shot that was outside when officers arrived. The victim was alert and talking when EMS arrived, Griffith Police Chief Greg Mance said. Police said the victim was shot inside the building however. The victim was transported by Superior Air Ambulance from Cline & Ridge at the old K-Mart parking lot to a Chicago Trauma Center, Mance told RNS. Currently no one is in custody but Police believe this to be an isolated incident.
