Gary Man Killed In Homicide Friday
Around 3:00 PM Friday, Gary Police responded to the 4900 block of Jefferson St in Gary for a male down from gun shot wounds. On arrival police found a male unresponsive in the street.
Multiple evidence markers could be seen on the street marking shell casings as Lake County CSI investigated the scene. The victim was shot multiple times according to a release.
The victim has been identified by The Lake County Coroner as Troy Newsome, 29, of Gary.
