Accidental Gun Shot At Hammond Barber Shop
Around 5:55 PM Friday, Hammond Police & Fire responded to a gun shot victim at a business located at 738 173rd Street.
Hammond Police arrived on scene and applied a tourniquet to help stop the bleeding. An initial crime scene was established till the investigation showed the shooting was a self inflicted accident. The victim (a customer) shot himself in his leg and was taken by ambulance to Christ Hospital. His condition is not known at this time.
