Armed Robbery Ends With Store Worker Shot In Downtown Lansing
On September 6th at approximately 8:15 PM, the Lansing Police Department responded to Star Budz located at 3420 Ridge Rd. for an Armed Robbery with a gunshot victim, according to Lansing Police.
Upon arrival, it was learned that 2 unknown male black subjects, both wearing masks and armed with handguns, entered the business and immediately attempted to restrain the employee and a struggle ensued. During this struggle, the employee was shot once in the back, resulting in a non-life-threatening injury. The offenders then began to collect merchandise from the backroom of the business. During this time, the victim was able to escape to safety through the backdoor of the business.
The Lansing Police Department is asking for help identifying the offenders in this case:
Offender 1 : male black wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, grey sweatpants and black shoes.
Offender 2 : male black wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and old black shoes.
