Attempted Burglary Suspect In Custody
On Thursday, 1-16-25, at approximately 10:30 AM, Schererville Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Cambridge Dr. in regards to a suspicious red Dodge Challenger that was seen circling the neighborhood approximately 20 times, according to Schererville Police. While on the way there, Officers were also advised that someone was trying to break into a residence on that street.
Upon arrival, Officers located the suspect vehicle parked, unoccupied and running. Officers were also able to locate one of the subjects involved. After a short foot pursuit, that subject was taken into custody with multiple charges pending.
