Body Found In Grass Near Road
On November 10, at approximately 11:35 AM, Gary Police were dispatched to the 400 block of W. 41st Avenue for a female down and unresponsive, according to a Gary Police press release.
Officers arrived at the scene and spoke with a witness who said they were passing by and noticed an object balled up in the grass right off the sidewalk. The witness realized that the object was a female person and being a nurse the witness attempted to render aide while another passerby notified police an medical services.
Unfortunately the female was unresponsive and declared deceased. The Lake County Coroner has not released identification of the female.
