The combined weight of the substance was 28.89 grams, and it field-tested positive for cocaine. Officers also found $415 in U.S. currency in the purse .
Gonzales allegedly admitted the substance was crack cocaine, told investigators the baggies were packaged in small amounts because she only smokes a certain amount at a time, and claimed the cocaine was her “medicine” .
