Calumet Ave Closed In Hammond For Serious Accident
Calumet Avenue in Hammond is closed both directions for a semi accident that drove off the roadway around 8:10am. The street closure is from Kenwood to Cleveland while crews work the scene. Lt. Steve Kellogg of The Hammond Police has confirmed the driver of the semi is deceased.
