Calumet City Police Arrest Shooter After One Person Hit Saturday
On May 15, 2021 at approximately 10:00am, Calumet City Police responded to the 400 block of Sibley Boulevard for a Shotspotter alert, according to Chief Kevin Kolosh.
Officers arrived on scene and located a 62 year old male victim with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was treated and released.
Calumet City officers quickly located and arrested the suspect moments after the incident. The incident is still under investigation by Calumet City detectives and charges are pending.
