Chauncey V. Jordan is accused of carjacking two women at gunpoint while they sat in a vehicle in a driveway in the 8100 block of Monroe Avenue. Jordan and the unidentified subject fled in the women’s vehicle and a short time later, the vehicle was found, unoccupied, in the 11000 block of Lowe Avenue in Chicago, by Chicago Police. The vehicle was processed by Munster Police and evidence located within the vehicle was linked to Jordan.
Jordan is currently incarcerated in the Cook County Jail on unrelated armed vehicular hijacking charges in Cook County. Two counts of Robbery, level 3 felony, one count of Auto Theft, level 6 felony, and two counts of Theft, A misdemeanor, were filed against Jordan. A warrant has been issued for his arrest, Peirick stated.
