Death Investigation Ongoing After Fire Call In Lowell
The Lake County Sheriff’s Department initiated a death investigation after local first responders received reports of a fire at a home in the 9200 block of West 156th Place in Lowell on November 18, 2025, according to Lake County Sheriff Oscar Martinez.
The Lake County Sheriff’s Department Crime Scene Investigation Unit collected evidence and processed the scene.
The Lake County Coroner has identified the female as Karen Cameron, 71, of Lowell. Manner of death is pending.
This is an ongoing investigation and we cannot release further details at this time, Martinez stated.
