Dollar General Robbery Saturday In Merrillville
Merrillville Police responded to an Armed Robbery Saturday evening around 8:45 PM at the Dollar General located at 9269 Taft Street, according to Merrillville Police.
Police arrived and learned that a male subject armed with a handgun robbed the store for cigarettes and cash, then fled on foot. Crown Point Police & Lake County Sheriff Officers assisted with setting up a search of the nearby area but the suspect was not found. There were no reported injuries during the incident.
