Dolton Man Dies In Fiery Crash On Sibley
On Tuesday September 29, 2020 around 1:38AM Calumet City Police & Fire responded to a motor vehicle accident on the 2000 block of Sibley. Two vehicles were involved in a collision resulting in a fire according to Chief Chris Fletcher of the Calumet City Police. One of the vehicle occupants a 27 year old male from Dolton was pronounced deceased at the scene, Fletcher stated. An eyewitness reported to RNS a Cadillac speeding near 80mph down Sibley before striking a vehicle leaving the Citgo. The other driver was transported to Christ Hospital and released and is currently in police custody, Fletcher said.
