Dozens of Shots Fired At A Home In Calumet City
Around 6pm Friday, Calumet City Police responded to a call of shots fired in the 200 block of Exchange Avenue, according to Calumet City Police.
Arriving officers found evidence that several shots had been fired into a specific home, officials told RNS. Our reporter counted over 30 shots fired in a small area using a .223 rifle and a 9mm handgun.
There were no reported injuries, though some vehicles in the immediate area were damaged, police told RNS. Cars around the neighborhood had numerous holes and broken windows that police could be seen looking at during the investigation.
