East Chicago Fire Sends Black Smoke Billowing
East Chicago Fire Department was dispatched to W. Chicago Ave & Railroad Ave Wednesday around 7:12pm for a structure fire at United Rentals. When crews arrived they found multiple portable generators burning, Deputy Fire Chief Carlos Aburto told RNS. Fire Investigators are currently on scene. There was no reported injuries and just damage to the equipment and fencing.
