East Chicago Police Investigating Homicide
East Chicago Police have confirmed to RNS that they are conducting a homicide investigation on the 3800 block of Elm St. Police currently have Elm shutdown from Broadway to 139th. Witnesses reported a shooting around 8:30pm Saturday. A crashed vehicle could be seen in the middle of the 3800 block. We will have more updates as this investigation continues.
