Eleven People Hit By Vehicle At Dyer Auto Auction
Shortly after 11 AM Friday a vehicle struck numerous people at The Dyer Auto Auction in Gary located at 7900 Melton Road.
Gary Fire Department sent all available ambulances and Lake Station assisted as well transporting patients. 11 people were injured and 8 ultimately transported to local hospitals. Two of which are in serious condition.
Initial reports coming into RNS from a witness on scene are saying this may have been intentional after a subject was terminated but that is not clear at this time and no official statement from police has been given.
