Gary Police Investigating Fatal Crash & Possible Homicide
The Gary Police Department is currently investigating a fatal accident that occurred shortly after 11pm Sunday. A Mazda SUV could be seen near 35th & Filmore in a single vehicle crash. The driver was possibly found with a gun shot wound according to sources which would make this Gary’s fourth homicide of 2020. The victim is currently identified as a John Doe, male black, according to the Lake County Coroner. Gary Police, Lake County Metro Homicide is investigating.
