Gary Police Investigating Homicide Of A 70 Year Old
Gary Police & Metro Homicide are investigating a homicide after a 70 year old male was found inside a residence Thursday morning. The Lake County Coroner was dispatched to the 2500 block of W. 13th around 11:35AM.
A relative found the deceased man inside his home when they went to check on him Thursday morning, according to Lt. Thomas Pawlak of The Gary Police. Police believe this occurred sometime overnight Wednesday. The victim has now been identified as Ray Perry, 70, of Gary according to the Coroner. The victims cause of death was listed as blunt force trauma.
