Gary Police Investigating Saturday Morning Homicide
Gary Police & The Lake County Sheriff are investigating an early morning Homicide according to a release from The Lake County Coroner’s Office Saturday morning.
The Coroner was dispatched at 5:10am Saturday to the 4500 block of Broadway at the “Save” Gas Station. A John Doe, only described as a black male, is in the care of the office currently pending reason of death, according the Lake County Coroner. UPDATE – The Lake County Coroner has identified the victim as Rayvon Harris, 29, of Gary. The Coroner as listed the cause of the death as multiple gun shot wounds.
