Hammond Man Wanted For Murder
The Hammond Police Department has announced that formal charges have been filed against 39-year-old Allen Oscar Woods in connection with the homicide of Tiffany Woods, which occurred on December 27, 2024.
Hammond Police officers responded to the incident of shots fired after receiving a call on December 27, leading to an active investigation that resulted in these charges.
“We are committed to ensuring justice is served in this case,” said Hammond Police Chief William Short. “Our officers and detectives worked diligently to gather evidence and secure the necessary charges.”
The last known location of Mr. Woods was in Chicago. The investigation remains ongoing, and the Hammond Police Department urges anyone with additional information related to the current whereabouts of Allen Woods to contact their local police department or call 911.
