Hammond Police Investigating Bank Robbery Monday
On Monday, October 24, 2022 at approximately 2:35 PM, Hammond Police received a call of a bank robbery that just occurred. The panic alarm came from Centier Bank located in the 5400 block of Hohman Ave, according to Lt. Steve Kellogg.
Officers arrived and learned that a male gave the teller a note demanding money, and implied he had a weapon. The teller complied and the male fled with an unknown amount of money.
The male was described as white, wearing dark clothing, and a surgical mask covering part of his face.
