Hammond Police Investigating Homicide
On January 18th, at approximately 10:09 a.m., Hammond police responded to an apartment building near Rimbach and Stateline Ave. in reference to a gunshot victim, according to Lt. Steve Kellogg of The Hammond Police.
Officers arrived and located a male victim who was deceased. The residence has been known to be associated with narcotics in the past, Kellogg stated. The victim has been identified by The Lake County Coroner as Michael Fromm, 53, of Munster.
