Hammond Welcomes Home Captain Josette Perkins
National Guard Captain Josette Perkins of Hammond was welcomed home with a full escort Thursday led by the Hammond Police, Hammond Fire, Hammond EMA, AVMRA, and Indiana Patriot Guard. Perkins just returned from a deployment in Kuwait the last year and a half.
Perkins has been Active Duty in the Guard for 18 years and is a Hammond High Alumni. She has been on the coaching staff at the school for 17 years with the basketball & track team.
