Hobart Burglary Suspect Arrested
Through extensive investigative methods, Hobart Detectives were able to identify the burglary suspect as Larry Lovenduski Jr for the burglary of the business located on the 3800 Block of West 37th Avenue, according to Captain James Gonzales of The Hobart Police. Mr. Lovenduski admitted to Detectives that he broke into the business and stole some tools in order to feed a drug addiction.
“In most cases, any Law Enforcement Officer will admit that burglaries are some of the more difficult cases to solve. But with the increased prevalence of surveillance cameras in and around homes and businesses it has really assisted with the investigative efforts by Law Enforcement to help solve these difficult cases,” Gonzales said.
Larry Lovenduski Jr. was charged on January 6, 2021 by the Lake County Prosecutor’s Office with 1 Count of level 5 Burglary, 2 Counts of level 6 Theft and 1 Count of class B Misdemeanor Criminal Mischief. Mr. Lovenduski Jr. is currently being held at the Lake County Jail.
