On June 9, 2022 at approximately 4:45 AM, Hobart Detectives were assisted by the Northwest Regional Swat Team to execute a search warrant at 3780 Colbourne Street, according to Hobart Police.
Hobart Detectives had received several complaints about possible drug activity occurring at the residence. Detectives were able to identify the occupants of the residence and subsequently make several controlled buys of illegal narcotics (not marijuana) from a occupant at the residence, Police said. Based upon the evidence that the Detectives collected over several weeks, they were able to obtain secure a search warrant for the residence.
Several firearms were recovered from the residence and money. There were 3 people taken into custody and transported to the Hobart Police Department. One suspect has been released pending charges through Lake County Prosecutor’s Office and the other two suspects are still being held and they are also facing charges through the Lake County Prosecutor’s Office.
All of the suspects listed their legal residence as 3780 Colbourne Street. The suspects are identified as a female, 37 years old, a male, 31 years of old and a male 28 years old.
