Hobart Police Department Investigating Shots Fired At A Home
Shortly before 4:30 PM, Tuesday, Hobart Police responded to a disturbance with shots fired in the 1000 block of Lakeview Dr. at a residence.
On arrival of officers a subject believed to be involved was fleeing the scene in a vehicle. A short pursuit entailed with the subject driving at times into oncoming traffic. Hobart Police were able to initiate a PIT maneuver near 38th & Wisconsin where the subject was taken into custody.
Preliminary information suggests a father and daughter were having a confrontation when the father allegedly fired shots at the daughter, according to Hobart Police. Hobart Police did confirm there were no injuries and are currently on scene as of 6 PM investigating.
Police will be providing further updates and possible charges at a later time as this investigation progresses.
