Hobart Police Execute Search Warrant On Cocaine Dealer
On September 19, 2024, Hobart Police Narcotics Unit investigators served a search warrant at the 1200 East Block of 14th Street in Hobart as part of an ongoing narcotics trafficking investigation, according to a Hobart press release.
Investigators learned of an individual dealing various quantities of cocaine in the area. Investigators through their investigation identified this individual as 40 year-old Hobart resident Chance Thomas King. During their investigation, investigators seized approximately 28 grams of suspected cocaine from King. King was arrested and faces 9 felony and misdemeanor charges with the most serious charges being Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4 Felonies.

Maintaining a Common Nuisance – Controlled Substances

Possession of Marijuana
Following this latest investigation, Chief Garrett Ciszewski stated, “I am proud of our local narcotics team for their continued efforts in arresting and charging those individuals whose drug trafficking negatively impacts and affects our overall community’s wellbeing.”
King is no stranger in the court system. King has had dozens of charges over the years including: Dealing Cocaine in 2019, Resisting, Unlawful Possession of a Legend Drug, OWI, Battery, Theft, Battery On Law Enforcement, and Burglary.
