Illinois State Police Make An Arrest For Child Pornography
Illinois State Police (ISP) officials announce the arrest of Deon J. Wallace (M/21) of Joliet, IL, for Felony Possession of Child Pornography.
On Feb. 6, 2020, Illinois State Police investigators executed a search warrant at a residence in Joliet. An I.P. address registered to the residence in Joliet was associated with uploads of images, identified as child pornography, to a Snapchat account belonging to Deon J. Wallace. During the execution of the warrant, ISP investigators came in contact with Wallace. Wallace was arrested and the Will County State’s Attorney’s Office approved one (1) charge for Possession of Child Pornography Class 3 with additional charges being considered.
On Feb. 7, 2020, the Will County State’s Attorney’s Office upgraded the charges and approved three (3) charges for Possession of Child Pornography Class 2. Wallace is awaiting a bond hearing.
